• Identify Your Gaps: As you engage with the content, take note of any new words, phrases, or grammatical structures that you don’t understand. Keep a list of these questions and challenging points. This is your personal learning plan.

Step 2: Engage and Practice (During Your Online Sessions)

Your two weekly online sessions with a professional tutor are your opportunity to solidify what you’ve learned and receive personalized feedback. These sessions are not about passive listening; they are about active engagement.

• Ask Your Questions: Bring the list of questions and difficult points you identified in Step 1. Your tutor will help you clarify these concepts and provide explanations tailored to your specific needs.
• Practice with a Purpose: Your tutor will facilitate conversations and activities based on the content you’ve consumed. This is your chance to practice your speaking skills in a low-stress environment and get real-time feedback on your pronunciation, fluency, and grammar.

Step 3: Reinforce and Review (After Class)

Learning a language requires consistent effort. After each online session, review the concepts you discussed with your tutor.

• Review Your Notes: Go over the answers and explanations your tutor provided. Revisit the content from Step 1 to see how the new information makes the material clearer.
• Apply What You’ve Learned: Try to use the new words and phrases in your own sentences or short paragraphs. This could be in a journal entry, a social media post, or even a conversation with a friend. This application process moves the knowledge from your short-term memory to long-term memory.
